one room challenge

Hello there!
I am so excited to be participating in the One Room Challenge as a guest participant once again!

The One Room Challenge is the only way I can get a project done in 6 weeks, no backing out now!
Better Homes And Gardens will be selecting 2 guest participants to be featured designers in the 2019 ORC, so the pressure is on!

Thank goodness I have a really good "before" room.

I will be making over our guest bathroom. It is in desperate need of a makeover. The room was built in the 1950's and with the exception of a few band aid fixes, it has remained the same since then.

I have painted over the years and put some cosmetic touches on, but nothing has been done to bring it totally up to date.

Not only that, but I am pretty sure the shower leaked at some point, and I bet you when I rip up the floor I will find a lot of rot. Goody goody.

Ok, are you ready for the before? Brace yourselves.....
Ok, so this was 18 years ago.

But it's not that much better today.

This really is going to be a challenge because the space is very tiny. Currently there is a tub/shower combo to the right of that sink.

The plan is to get rid of the tub and install a walk in shower.
All new floor will be going in.
The popcorn will be removed from the ceiling and it will get all new drywall.
I have big plans to make this tiny space have big style so I hope you will follow along!

This week I will be starting the demo. I will be doing everything myself {with a bit of help from my husband} so I am expecting a few hiccups along the way, but hopefully nothing I can't handle.
