~chic campers~

I really really want to makeover the inside of our camper. So I have been looking at different chic campers online for some inspiration. Here are some of my faves. I can't believe some of these are campers!
You have to see the before and afters of this camper, amazing!

How cute is this little awning?

This is nicer than my house.

Would you believe this was once a school bus?

And this one is to die for:

I'd be a happy camper with any of these!

~whole 30 crockpot chili~

My husband and I have been on the whole 30 diet for about 3 weeks now and we feel SO much better!

I have found some really easy and good recipes and thought I'd share them from time to time with you.

This beef chili recipe is super simple because it can be thrown in the crockpot, turned on high, and left until dinner time.

I hope you like it too!

~Friday favorites~

Have you seen the Hearth and Hand paint line at Target?
Gorgeous colors!

Looking for a cute kids lamp/nightlight? These "pet" lamps are dimmable and come in a array of colors and styles.

Dog beds are always on my radar. This one is super stylish.

This little stool is so inexpensive!

This is an amazing and yummy smelling facial spray. I want to stock up on it.

I love using melamine dishes in the summer and these are great.

Would you believe I just got my first cast iron skillet?
I love this article on cast iron skillet recipes.

~a tiny home in the Hampton's with big style~

At only 1,000 square feet, this tiny home sure packs on the charm!

There's that charming Hampton's shingled and weathered exterior.

The master bedroom with it's white walls is so open and airy.

The kids room is so sweet with it's kid sized furnishings.

One large cabinet holds a ton of storage!

Even the fireplace is tiny.

I love how they managed to get a deep sofa in the small space.
Comfort is everything, right?

And the piano fits perfectly at the bottom of the stairs.

It always amazes me how much character and charm, not to mention "stuff" can fit into such small spaces!

~5 small space storage hacks~

I've said it before and I'll say it again, I love small homes. They are cozy and if you pair down your belongings, very easy to maintain.
Here are some tips for storage and organizing in a small home.

Entry

Don't have a big entrance?
Simply hang a mirror and a small shelf.

This is one of my favorites.

Walls

Take advantage of vertical space by hanging hooks on your walls.
This pack comes with matching black screws~very important.

Closet

Use acrylic file sorters to evenly store purses upright in your closet.

Cabinets

Use the inside of cabinet doors to hang items. You can use command strips to avoid damage.

Stylish Storage

Use baskets with lids to conceal unsightly items.
Toilet paper, phone chargers, magazines, etc.
{baskets can be found here}

What are some of your small space hacks?

~a home Joanna Gaines would be jealous of~

This ranch home belongs to a friend of mine.
It is so beautifully decorated and screams Chip and Jo to me.

So I thought I'd perk up your dreary Monday with a home tour!
Let's start this week off right!

When you walk into the home through these modern doors you step onto a great cowhide rug.

Say hi to Savannah!

On your right is the formal dining room with a rustic Pottery Barn table and creamy chairs with nail head trim.

I love these roof tile sconces so much.
Similar here.

As you leave the entry and head into the great room, you see a couple cute signs.
The custom name sign was made by me. Email me if you would like one!
lakeliving4@yahoo.com.
The Let's stay home sign was a home goods score but I found a similar one here.

Straight through that dining area is the informal dining room. It sits in-between the living room and the kitchen.
I love the texture on the dining chairs.

Straight behind is the gorgeous covered patio.

Back inside, the large living room is super inviting and cozy.

Marquee letter here.

Tobacco baskets can be found here.

Don't you love all the textures happening?

The hallway that leads to the garage has a wall of reclaimed wood. It is STUNNING in person!

Similar floral pillows here.

Onto the teen daughters room and bathroom!

Hi!

The master bedroom and bath are very spacious.
Love you more was a Home goods find.
I want one bad!

One of their sweet little doggies all cozy in bed.

Cowhide butterfly chairs from here.

Similar accent table here.

OK, what do you think?
Fabulous right?
I hope you enjoyed today's home tour.

xoxo
