~my Friday favorites~

This has been a crazy busy week for me!
I sold all of our living room furniture, got a new dining table, and new barstools.
Lots of changes happening.
I have learned something over the years.
Buy what you love, and buy good quality.
Sit in furniture before you buy it, and don't settle for less than pure comfort.
No, I didn't win the lotto.
I have been slowly selling off things I don't need or have stashed in closets I don't use.
I am making money to buy new things that are truly "us" and not just for a pretty picture to share on my blog or instagram.

Our living room is currently 80% empty as we wait for the new furniture to arrive.
But that's ok with me. It's just a short period of time and before I know it, it will be here.

We are moving away from my love of sectionals to better suit my family.
If you are curious, we bought this couch.
My husband is getting his 2 recliners he's always wanted, although we still have yet to pick the right ones out. {see yesterdays post}
Leaning towards these ones as they are quick ship and look like good quality. Heading to the store tomorrow to try them out in person.

I will share with you as things start to arrive!
But, as I have been browsing blogs, pinterest, and websites this week, I came across a few fun things I thought I'd share!

I thought this was a super clever idea and I think I may have to try it.
Who wants to stare at an ugly cable box anyway?

Check out how this wall art was made from a book! I have this book and may have to find some extra wall space to do this!

I love this dark and moody room makeover.

This is a super easy last minute Halloween costume!

This makes me want to paint my island lights.

This is by far my favorite high end fail proof spray paint.

And yes, I am already thinking about Christmas!

Happy Friday!
xoxo
