~our finished dining room~

If you are new to my blog, here is a little backstory on our ever changing dining room.

I gave it a little makeover back in May. even though I loved it, I still couldn't help but feel that something was off.
I kept feeling like the table was too big and wondered if a round table would better suit the space.
Not wanting to plunk down a ton of money on a table that I may not like, I turned to Modsy.

Modsy is a company that will give you a 3-d rendering of your room, with new furniture and or accessories in it.

Perfect for me because I am such a visual person!
So I sent them over photos of my dining room and the dimensions.
We went back and forth on a couple items and when I had made my selections, they sent me over a rendering of my room in 3-d.

Here it is:

As a reminder, this is how it looked with my original table.
Not bad but the end chairs spilled over into the living room and when the chairs are scooted out it was hard to get downstairs.

I loved the selections they chose!
The round table is so much more conducive to conversation and it really makes the space look bigger and it's not so tight in there anymore.
Here is the table I purchased.

They also selected these vases {one in each size}  for or the table which I love.

And they suggested new art, and this one,  which I never would have picked out on my own, but also love.
I also bought the 3 baskets for under the sideboard.

The only thing I didn't get is the chairs, because although I love them, I need to save my pennies.
I am still using my bentwood chairs and will get a few more of those, as this table easily could seat 8.

The only thing I am waiting on is the rug which is on backorder until January.
I love how the chandelier and table seem to flow together perfectly now.

Are you ready to see how it looks all put together today?

Dining chairs from here.

If you don't want the hassle of returns or if you don't want to live with regrets, try Modsy first and save time and money and frustrations!

Lets do one more Modsy rendering followed by house my dining room looks today:

Pretty darn close right?

Here are the final photos they sent me. Keep in mind this was all done over the computer, this is not my actual room:

Thanks Modsy for helping bring my vision to life!

xoxo
