This year I am not hosting Thanksgiving at our home, so I skipped right ahead and gave it a little Christmas makeover. I was excited to use some new products that I got from Caravan Home Decor to pull it all together!
I am not going way over the top this year, and I am using mainly my Christmas items that have the most meaning to me. Vintage pieces, ornaments my kids made when they were little, etc.
You'll see how I incorporated those into my dining room decor here.
I set the table very simply using an existing vase and some greens out of the yard, as well as some grocery store lilies and white roses.
For a bit of color I added a collection of my favorite vintage glass ornaments to this marble fruit bowl. At first I had clementines in there, but thought this idea was a little funner, and it will last a lot longer too.
I still might swap out that tree print for something a bit more holiday-ish for the season.
On top of each plate I placed a linen napkin tied with ribbon, adding vintage silverware and a sprig of rosemary.
On the sideboard I created a little vignette using this round marble cheeseboard as a base for my vintage bottle brush trees, and vintage reindeer.
Next to it is a stack of marble appetizer plates.
I think these would also work great as coasters, or bases for candles.
Hop on over to the blogs below to see how they decorated their homes for the holidays!
