Last Christmas my parents got me this wreath making machine, and this fall, my dad made a stand for it.
If you don't want to buy a wreath making machine, you can still make one of these using a wire wreath form, and wiring in your greens.
The first thing you need to do is gather up a variety of branches and clippings from around your yard.
I got a bunch of different clippings including boxwood, lavender, cedar, and fir.
If you are using this clamp machine you'll need clamp rings.
I chose a variety of sizes. You wreath will turn out approx. double the size as your wreath form when you are done.
If you are using a wire wreath form and not a machine, follow these instructions but instead of clamping your greens in, wire the bundles to your form.
Start by grabbing a variety of greens with different colors or contrasting colors. Trim them so you have a small cluster of them in your hand.
Either wire them on or clamp them in with the machine.
Work your way all around the wreath form until it is completely covered.
If you hang these outdoors they will last a lot longer than if you leave them indoors.
They smell amazing!
This is a little one my mom made:
These also make great hostess gifts!
