~our early Spring home tour~

Welcome to our early Spring home tour!
Let's jump right into it with our daughters room.
Savannah is 19 and although she is away at college, I still like to keep her room looking inviting and cozy for when she comes home to visit.

GIRLS BEDROOM

This room is a lot of white, gold, and varying shades of light pinks.
I will post sources as I go if anyone is interested on where to purchase any of the items.
This room was an addition and used to be the deck off the master bedroom. We added it on when I got pregnant with child #2 in 2002.
Artwork in entry of bedroom can be found here.
Pillow can be found here.
Similar chandelier here.
Curtains are from here.

I recently moved this lamp out of our dining room and into her room.
The desk chair can be found here. {similar}

I just found this linen duvet at TJ Maxx and just about died when I saw it. If you ever see linen bedding at these discount stores, buy them!
The color is the palest blush pink, so springy.
Linen bedskirt can be found here.

Before we even thought about adding this room on, I found this door at an antique mall and knew someday I would have a good use for it.
Now it is her closet door, we built the room to fit it.
Similar storage baskets can be found here.

White lidded urn.

I just got this rug and it really lightens and brightens the room with the dark floors.
It is so soft underfoot too.
The bench is from TJ Maxx but there is a similar one here.

Gold pot can be found here.

To go with her new duvet set, I got these fabulous pillows from Danille Oakey's pillow shop.
They are the perfect shade of grey to go with all the pink and cream.
Faux fur euro pillow from here.

Artwork on this wall:

{GOD IS SO GOOD CREATED BY MY DAUGHTER}

She believed she could so she did sign.

I got these fun lights from Cable & Cotton and strung them around her bed. They look so amazing at night when all the other lights are off!
The sconces are from this fabulous Etsy shop.

LIVING ROOM

Our living room is where we spend most of our time. It is a bright room with a lot of windows.
When I was getting ready for this post, I wanted the room to feel light and bright and so I edited my shelving units and added a lot of white and gold accessories.
