Continuing on with the fabulous lake house from yesterday and taking a look at the entry and into the living room.
When you first walk in you step into a hallway with a shiplap wall and a single painting.
And on the other side of that wall is the living room!
It's decorated very simply with great antique pieces.
The old wood bench is one of my favorite things.
World Market has a similar one, it's black, but I love it too.
And I love how eclectic it all is, while still being cohesive.
The fireplace design is so great with it's herringbone tile.
The mantle is also decorated simply as well with a couple modern clear vases and a vintage pizza paddle. Pottery Barn actually has a pair of these that would look great in replicating this look.
Do you see that cool vintage trumpet lamp?
I found a bunch of different ones here.
And to the left of the fireplace is the tv and a great modern credenza.
The bright white walls {simply white by Benjamin Moore} are a great
backdrop to these darker wood tones.
The homeowners have placed nesting tables around the room.
The coffee table has the cutest ram sitting on a book. Again, simple but so sweet!
It was actually one of my favorite things!
They had the coffee table custom made in Portland Oregon, but sadly, it is no longer in business.
This one has a similar look.
Similar pillows can be found here.
Opposite the fireplace wall:
A sideboard with a curated collection of family
Etsy is a great place to find vintage wool plaid blankets.
Come back tomorrow to see more of this beautiful home.
Up next is the kitchen which you will not want to miss!
xoxo
