~vintage modern lake house tour~{the kitchen}

Hello and happy Wednesday!
Today I am excited to show you the kitchen and eat in dining room from our vintage modern lake home tour. If you missed any of the rooms, so far I have shared the living room and entry, and the exterior and mother in law apartment.
Let's jump right in with this light and bright kitchen!

The little boxwood wreaths add just the right amount of color to this all white kitchen.

A simple white soap dish by the sink and a gorgeous vase with peonies.

Let's take a closer look at some of the details.....

Corralling all that kitchen clutter in trays and pots is not only functional, but decorative as well. A vintage lidded mason jar holds extra salt.
I think her kitchen needs one of these!

Find similar artwork here.

This isn't the exact same lamp, but I think it evokes the same feel.

I think this mustard jar is a piece of art. I just ordered one myself.
I love the giant pedestal sitting on a old cutting board.

At the end of the counter is a little bar cart.
Look through the window to the hedge leading into the neighbors yard.
So sweet.

Placing items on a tray is always a good idea.

In the back is a cute little coffee station.

A basket is all the decoration back here.
The Illy coffee reminds me of our trip to Europe last summer.
This is a serious espresso machine!
I think I need a French press now too :)

And on the lake side, is the eat in dining room with a great farmhouse table, pine hutch, and vintage chairs.

The head chairs are chippy grey vintage captains chairs.

I love how she used these for candle sticks.

This metal container is filled with mustard bottles.

Some of the books in her hutch include:

I just love her collections!
This farm table will give you a similar look for a great price.

And in the corner is a little desk setup.

Are you noticing a theme here with these bookends?

This wall of cabinets below is actually the pantry, the refrigerator, and freezer.

Please come back tomorrow for more of this beautiful home!

xoxo
