~family room with pops of orange for fall~

I wanted to show you how easy it is to change the look of a room dramatically by simply adding one color.

I shared our family room here in our home tour recently and as you can see by the picture below, I decorated it very simply and with not a lot of color.

Now, let's take a look at the same room with bright pops of oranges for fall!

I happen to love orange so it was kind of a no brainer when it came to adding color in here.

All I did was switch up the pillows, add some orange books to the shelves, and a simple orange tray.

On the coffee table I added another stack of orange books with a glass pumpkin in orange, cream, and gold.

You don't have to spend a ton of money when changing your color scheme. It can be as simple as adding little accessories in your color scheme like these matches.

Adding contrast with the black and white pillows helps things from looking too boring.
